I did a search but could only come up with a few things like this post:

http://ausmini.tziworld.com/viewtopic.php?t=959&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=solex

The locks in my Clubman are crap....I had them rebuilt by Stewart's Locksmiths (kinda a franchise around Melbourne) but I'm not happy with them. Mini locks always seem so flimsy and these ones are already falling apart. :(

Went to Autobahn tonight but there was no specific SOLEX lock listed for Mini or Clubman. I'm hoping someone out there has found a specific part # that works as I haven't yet gone down the path of trying to match something up.

So, does anyone have a SOLEX part # that they can grace me with? Would be MUCHO appreciated...even if it does mean I have to rip my doors innards apart AGAIN! :?

Also, please chime in with alternative locks (that you have used specifically). This is one of those things I just want to nail quickly to get my Clubman finished.

Thanks in advance. :)

Maybe contact solex themselves. I pretty sure they have one that fits, you just have to file the hole in the door out a little bit. http://www.solexlock.com/

Supercheap Auto had a few types in their cabinet, I saw the other day. You want one that has the little arm or could have the Mini's one fitted.
Maybe they have a catalog..??

The Solex locks are huuuuuge. I personally wouldn't fit them cause the look disproportionately big on the mini, imo.

I found I had a bit of slop because the entire barrel was turning instead of the locking mechanism. The barrel has two kinda flared bits of metal that are supposed to bite into the door a bit and keep it steady. With age mine have got shitty and don't work. I just lobbed a tiny bit of liquid nails on it to help it out and the locks felt A Lot Better. Maybe this could work for you?

The prob with standard Clubbie locks is if you bang a screwdriver in, they turn!
The Solex ones have a key similar to the Tibbe locks on a Falcon, or a Prolock- pretty hard to butcher this way.
I'll probably put some on son's Clubbie after it's painted, and someone else here finds which one fits!

I fixed that. Got new clips from Mini Kingdom...(I think)..in Sydney, plus new door gaskets. Still not good enough. It's not the lock turning that's the problem, it's just the crap locks!

My only other thought was to do central locking and blank off the lock hole in the door....but knowing my current rate of progress that'd take a year for me to get around to!

Doc, if I find anything out I'll let you know.

I also have this problem with my clubby. :x
The clips were ok on mine, it is the doorskin that is the drama. It has two flats on each side of the hole in the door and after a while they wear off and the hole becomes round causing the lock to spin. I was thinking of using KE30/55 corolla locks ( chrome and not too obtrusive - solex locks stick out too far IMO ) but i'm not sure about the depth between the doorskin and the window glass..
