thats what I was refering to..notice the differnace in colour :!:
with the bike engine in the front the drive would be in the front :wink:

bike motor in the front..Front Wheel Drive...the additional pic of the beam end is from another Mini which has a bike engine in the Back

You may find that it could also be rwd - with a very short propshaft and Ford Sierra independent rear end!

Andy's right. Probably RWD with a prop shaft connected to the gearbox output and with either a soild rear end out of an old Escort or independent from something else. This is how the Westfield Megabusa and many other UK kit cars are built.

JC and I were just discussing this set up with Mad Matt at the Muster.

I reckon that might actually be the bike gearbox sitting in the back - if there was a car diff, why would they need the chain... ?

separate the engine from the 'box with a propshaft, and the bike 'box is in the back

fark... talk about your points of failure :D
