Ok... :)

I should have said that i have a G13B with T25 turbo. I plan to run a 2 1/2" exhaust from the dump pipe.

How does that sound?

Doc said "unless its a turbo". Why isn't velocity important? I would have thought you still want to get the gas out as quickly as possible.

I dont really want an oversized muffler as such (i dont want a pea shooter either) but i want a system that is going to compliment the turbo motor.

With a turbo you have back pressure upstream, but you want as little velocity downstream of the turbo as possible. This maximises the energy delivered to the exhaust turbine, so it spools better.

Ist Question is what HP have you got, and what are you after in the way of sound

Turbo im assuming

Atm in my project i have Stock manifolds with a 2 1/4 mandrell bend system with a 200 cpi mettalic cat convertor fully faanged and Double braided flex. I can change the rear to suit my driving at the moment i have 2 options

my engineer / rta approval rear section which is a 2 1/4 triflow muffler 12" long 10x4 profile with just a plain outlet

My road system is also flanged etc and is a direct replacement for the "RTA" system , it is a 10" long 10x4 offcet centre fibre glased pack 2 1/2 sports muffler with a twin outlet 4" stainless tip which hangs in the centre of the car

The mufflers are by "Berklee" and i built the system myself

Some say the road system looks large but then everything else in the car is so why not ?

Turbo's dont need as many mufflers as a na car because the turbo itself restricts the noise to a certain amount
