Howdy,

Am I nitpicking or is it annoying to others that there are an increasing number of 'For Sale' Ads with just links to another for sale thread.. eg/Ebay.
Post what you want, but its annoying to see '19xx Mini for Sale' then you look at the supposed ad and its a link.
People looking to buy will most likely already trawl ebay and the like...

Maybe we should put in the subject something like '19xx Mini for Sale - Ebay'

Maybe Im just getting old...

Pete.

how about an ebay only thread?
as in; all ebay links go in there.
if you don't comply, your message/thread is deleted.

fair game.

I think if you want to see ebay items you will look there, you don't need to be told as well.

I watch ebay religiously and do find it annoying to then see it all again on here.

I like your idea willy, for it to happen I would suggest that a Poll on it be run. I personally would prefer a clear majority on this in the event of the mods deleting an ebay thread in For Sales and then getting attacked as has happened in the past.

The only problem with it is that as there are no replies in For Sales, we would need to host it elsewhere, say the Poolroom. I would also suggest that the only posts allowed in the thread would be those with links to ebay ads, no commentary or discussions on the item. 8)

I think you should stop buying dial-up modems, and switch to broadband already :P

in all honesty, i think it is a terribly atrocious idea. if you're looking for something on ebay you will find it there. we dont need ebay ads here. unless we get some kind of advertising revenue :D

I think the most annoying thing about those (not-mine, e-bay) ad is it bump away good or more genuine ad. I put a for sale ad a while back and in less the 10 hours it was bump to the second page. I dont know about the rest of you, but with my dial-up connection i dont check very often the second or third page of any chat.

I think those should be remove, i hate e-bay, i much prefer paying a bit more but being able to get some info fron the seller

But this is only me. Merci et a la prochaine

Yes. E-bay == emotional-bay
