Europe might use Nm, but Top Gear still uses lb-ft. I've checked the magazine. Kind of makes sense - if you're going to use hp, you should use its counterpart, lb-ft. Nm only works with kW - they're both metric measures. I didn't think Top Gear was having any ratings problems, though...

Even if they do get kicked off air for snooker!

Don't forget, Top Gear's also for praising the Monaro...
It's interesting that, while bhp/ps give roughly 30% higher a figure than kW, lb-ft is the opposite compared to Nm. 1kW = roughly 1.34bhp = roughly 1.36ps, 1lb-ft = roughly 1.35Nm.
So the dynos in England are like their award system for sportsmen..? Win two cricket tests (just!) and you get MBE's and a massive parade in London, win a rugby match in overtime and all get MBE's and a massive parade in London... Jonny didn't even kick as accurately as Flatley that day, and everyone still calls him a wonderboot...

No, I'm not a racist, just an Aussie patriot!

And born Irish.
It'd be interesting to see that formula for hp at the flywheel compared to hp at the road wheels...
Finally, repeat, along with Jeremy and me "Aston Martins are the greatest cars in the world. Aston Martins are the greatest cars in the world. Aston Martins...
