when i bought my mini it already had bullet mirrors fitted, the only problem is, i s that i cant see out of them? does anyone know how i can fix this problem?

I had the sme problem, then i finally realised that you will never be able to see out of them :lol:

I have one on Barney and I can see OK. it all depends where you fit them, there is a sweet spot that works. :wink:

Sit in car, twist mirror fully to side, then hold mirror with your right hand to the door when you can see properly to the rear. Your beautifil 1/2 clad assistant can then mark the position with a pencil and you're set. :lol:
ps. make sure to do this with quarter vent window opened....

ive wondered if you put it on the silver part of the door just after the quarter glass you might be able to see out of it and still use the quarter

Can also purchase one of the new ones that have the longer arm and movable body. I will be trying one in replace of the bullet that is on mine now.
It is currently further back than the ones in the photos so far and far enough back to open the 1/4 window.

They just take a bit of getting used to in comparison with the stock ones. As long as they have a tight fit and don't vibrate all over the place it's fine :)

hmmm mines fitted like hanras but my forward bolt has been left off so i can move the whole unit and the mirror as well
