would a scoop in a high pressure zone create drag? would a low pressure zone give a smoother flow and better aerodynamics? or am I talking out my ass again?

A rearward facing scoop would have a venturi effect, drawing air off your carby, (like siphoning fuel with a piece of rubber fuel hose and an air blower) but would rush air past your carby too giving it more chance than just breathing the heat off your exhaust...

Hanra: love the 180 too btw... nice body kit, bet it goes hard.

Yeah it does for 2 litres with 12 pounds of boost pushed into it.

Yeah pretty keen on em, Citric Acid.... 4 Litres, long stroke, plenty of torque, once the CAPA flash tuner goes in theres a little bit more potential for a few more hp. Want a RWD large car with boost. Im over Jap imports...

Need RWD, not FWD. I still enjoy getting sideways every now and then.

the rear ends in the turbos are weak and go pop after a bit of abuse, I got a mate on his 6th diff or something, at one stage he was in 3 weeks in a row for another diff. They had piles of them.

Can anybody say- "fit a Ford 9 inch"?
Holden diffs are no better, my son went through a couple in his CV8 Monaro... not to mention tailshafts, clutches, pistons, valve lifters...

If I can hijack back to topic for a second, I have this bonnet for my car. Dunno whether I'll use it or not. The main issue with it is not heat or air getting taken from the carb, but rather when it gets wet. On one side we have an alternator under it, the other has the dizzy. :D

The problem with stuff like that is that air that is supposed to be flowing out past the radiator is going out through the bonnet (without actually achieving anything)
