Tricky im south east side of brisbane and i was already thinking deeply about using your services to build the subframe for me im sure my engineer would be much happier :D.

Oh and ive decided to just cut off the shafts off at the cv's cause it sounds much easier.

Gof,

As per JC's instructions - do not cut anything yet!!

We can help you dismantle if you are not having any luck......

Got it!

i was on a time limit cause i was borrowing the engine crane and i had to have the engien removed by the night and started to cut one of the drive shafts but realised it was a stupid thing to do. So now im missing about half a mm from the driveshaft just up near the brake caliper but it looks repairable.

To end the mad rush i went out and bought an engine crane today for a great price of 200 (i'm very proud :D) since im going to have to use if to remove the engine from the mini as well as manouvering the starlet engine around all the time i think it was a good investment.

Anyway with the help of the crane i ended up removing the whole brakes driveshafts and all as suggeste.....so so so much easier thanks guys.

Thanks JC but i finally figured it :D. All thats left now is getting the engine cleaned up (my mate is doing it for free for me) and waiting for the engineer..then its over to organising somehthing with tricky for the subframe.

Photos coming when the camera decides to work

cheers, goffy

semi update....

everything is out of the halfcut and its now sitting at the back of the garage...now its just a waiting game to see what queensland transport says to my proposal, if it rejects it im going to build it anyway and just using it for racing and invest in a car trailer

cheers, goffy

Correct, that is the water pump.

The powersteering pump is on the front side of the motor.

only if you don't want a dead motor.

You can replace it with an electric water pump if you need the room for something else!!
