As some may or may not know, I have been advertising my mini for sale, due to getting a new Toyota Rav4 from my grandparents, which was kinda a rushed unthought about decision. But as I believe everything happens for a reason, and sunday night in the wet I was going down a hill and lost control and hit a tree and have written the car off... Bad cause i shat myself :P but now I can keep the mini, although I am down $1500 due to crash I am going to save and do my mini how i dreamed before i was offered the Rav4...

Cheers Ian Hope to see ya all around...

Oh mate that's a shocker! You're obviously OK (I hope, or is this typed like that Stephan Hawkins fellow does his emails...).
You must feel pretty awful. How did your Grandparents take it (apart from being happy you're ok)?

AHA! It was deceptively straight huh? They always get ya those deceptively straight and flat roads. Good to hear everything is ok.

The ribbing from the family may last a good while, but it will be comforting if they can laugh about it. After my first crash whenever my brother would come near me he would spin out of control into a wall or a tree or something like that. I think he damaged his brain...

Perth's not exactly famous for being hilly. Where was the scene of the crime?

King's Park was it?
Only been to Perth once, many years ago.

He does appear to be being fairly economical with the facts - must be something there! :D
