I was told by Phil (PhildoD) that Russell Engineering make/sell a 1.75" inlet manifold and it's spose to be better than the Mini Spares Centre one. If so, more info please! I needa get a manifold for the HIF44 I just bought!

Yes Scott, it's a ripper, according to GR. Looks better anyhow.. most of his stuff works, ask the racers.
I just bought his 45DCOE one.. (bare casting) I'll mill it up next week and try to cram it in without a box. :P
`tis a bit longer than the Redline..

<edit> ring him on 02 9630 2195.

What are the rough prices, if ya know? Gotta be cheaper than something shipped over here from the UK?!

45DCOE around $260 for a finished one. The SU type, I have no idea. Maybe cheaper. Give Graham a ring on number above. 8)

Hey Kev, whats doing with the redline manifold? If you're looking to sell I'd be interested.

I haven't seen the redlines before... are they a bit of a swan-neck? Do they fit without a firewall box alright? I think I'll be going with a weber 45DCOE on the 1275 I'm doing cause my source of a free dellorto is not coming through with the goods.

Those manifolds are good things,,,but the carbs can interfere with the baulk head panel somewhat, so be prepared for some "modification" there

Dewey, no it's not for sale at the moment, it might stay on the car yet...
The Redline 3005 just allows fitment of a Weber or Dellorto with a Ramflo RF445P5S offset filter, without any cutting. Forget a K&N- there isn't room.
I usually crease the edge of the speedo (passenger side) cutout a little with a BFH, just to get a few mm clearance under the filter.
Here's a pic or two..

re. the Russell Engineering `Weber' one- I doubt it will fit with any filter, unless I build a box of some sort. But it looks sweet. :P
Pic of bare casting- not machined yet.

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeez bbbeaaaudddiful.

Very nice. I just bought home a 45 delorto but I can go to a 42 or 45 weber. The bloke I'm dealing with has a box of carbs and manifolds.

Any chance you can take some more pics of the redline manifold? It looks quite similar to the one I have... any casting numbers on it for identification?

Look underneath, on the carb mount flange. May have `3005' or `12-3005' stamped there.
Warneford did one that looks the same- just as good.

<edit> here's another pic-

no, you can't have the airbox... not for sale.

45 Dellortos I like- it's just that getting jets and chokes is a bit harder than Weber. I got mine from www.dellorto.co.uk a while back.
