Into a vent tube on the stocko air cleaner or onto a PCV fitted to the manifold if you have one.
It vents the crankcase to atmosphere. You could put it into a oil/air seperator as well, or an old coke bottle till you work out what you want to do.

I have mine just vent. Not sure how legal it is, but it does wonders for the engine (revs nicer) and hasn't used any oil since I changed it (was using a stuffed PCV valve).

does that mean just left 'as is', not connected to anything or closed off?

Actually no. I first tried with one of those little filters, but the engine is tired and has a bit of blow bye, so it got fumey in the cabin. I put a bit of heater hose on and pointed the end out between the radiator and the radiator shield. Now the fumes get pushed out with the flow from the radiator fan.

It's a boo boo in the eyes of the licence mobs to vent it straight to air if it was originally hooked up to something be it the air cleaner, charcoal cannister or a pollution control valve. So if you are going to take it over the pits, I would make sure it goes somewhere. What can happen is that it sprays a fine mist of oil and crankcase nasties out into the environment, so they normally rebreathe it through the engine (which can reduce the power a little). But if it goes into a coke bottle, there's no harm. other than the environmental effects they reckon it will create. There may be a plastic tube on the drivers side of you carby to hook it into if you have a late model Clubby SU fitted.

oh ok, it's not going over the pits or anything so i dont have to worry about that unless some cop knows what he's talking about and can defect or fine me for it....
i have a solex carbie on it - similar to weber
which does have a connection on the manafold which is currently blocked...

You can't connect it straight to the manifold, it has to go through a PCV of some sort first, otherwise it won't run.
