Thanks guys , its great to finally have it done.
It goes really well for a standard engine im very impressed ,it can cruise nicely or you can go heavy footed and its like a different engine!....it loves it!.
Any one else have problems with 13x7 wheels rubbing on sportspack flares? i was thinking i might have to goto 13x6 for the front ...dunno will see what you guys reackon.

Craig,

I cut the guards back slightly to ensure my 13 x 7's dont touch the flares.

Its only about 1/2 and inch or so.

Let me know if you want pics!!

Regards,
Andy

Hi Craig,

Basically I just drew a line about 30mm inside the normal guard line.

Then, I got the air saw and cut inside this line by 20mm - so effectilvely I had cut 10mm off the guard - this equates to 20mm off the overall diameter.

I then got the vice grips and folded a 10mm lip back onto the guard. I used the original line as a guide, which should be 10mm above the fold line.

I then got a hammer an dolly and peened the entire lip nice and flush, and square.

Lastly, out with the flap disk on the grinder and took off the sharp edges on the lip.

Here are some pics - you can plainly see whats left of the line, about 10m above the new lip.

No worries with clearance now and the arches dont know the difference!

Cheers,
Andy
