Hi everyone
just been looking for headers on the net for my honda b16a2 and wanted to get a rough idea what stainless steel headers are worth, does'nt have to be for a honda ,there should'nt be much difference between honda ,toyota unless you buy big name brands like Apexi,Toda etc.

These are the ones i've been looking at for $400

Look nice but don't buy anything yet. You will have very limited room and may require a custom set.

very nice...price seems ok too..

are you sure you can fit them in the mini? i thought you would have had to get a custom one made?

have you looked into getting a stainless one made locally?

I concur.... wait till you've got the motor in and you know how much space you've got to play with, as some of those extractors stick out a long way from the block - hondas have plenty of room in front of the motor so they don't design for limited space.

that's assuming the motor isn't in already of course!! $400 for a good set from a reputable brand is really good I reckon - the cheap ebay ones are $150-$200... and they're supposed to be crap!

I have my eye on a set for my honda, but I won't be buying until I know how much space there is

Hi
i've got the motor pretty much where its gona be and im able to fit the standard manifold and pipe on.
Where the frame goes around the pipes might stick out a bit but a front bumper will cover it or maybe a bulge in the front panel either way im not to worried about it.

So im just waiting to hear back from the seller to see if they stick out more than the standard manifold

:D

well then... bring on the bling bling extractors :D

where are you buying them from? have you found a honda parts supplier who actually knows something about performance? all I seem to find is wreckers who don't give a crap, or dickheads who think that the bodykits they sell make the cars go faster.... and that's all there is to performance tuning

Most honda's have VERY well tuned headers from the factory, especially the more performance orientated engines.

the other thing i would point out is that these headers are four into one, and majority of headers on the market that actually make more power over factory are four into two into one !

Thanks
