Matt,

Its a bit like what we were talking about on the weekend, you get to a point where you just want to drive the car and not stuff around on it. In reality you don't see much of the manifold anyway and looking at your last post you actually cleaned it up pretty good.

The biggest issue we may potentially have is cracking occuring at the welds due to the heating and cooloing of the manifold. I will be interested to see how it all goes.

Well Dan, I went out to Enzed v early this morning and sorted out the hoses. Unfortunately they don't have all the fittings there till Monday (I hate that), still braided lines!! Should be all hooked up by mid next week I would say. I can do the exhaust and that will be the next challenge. By the way was it you who was saying you wanted the dump pipe? I can't give you the whole lot but I can give you the flange and bell and probably 6" - 10" of the pipe? Your call.

Cheers

Matt

No wasn't me Matt, but thanks for the offer anyway.

I know what you mean about having to go back to pick up parts they dont have in stock, I have had to do it a number of times. The most anoying one was Toyota who did not have any clutch bolts in NSW, i had to wait two days for my 6 bolts and then they only sent 5????

HEy Matt,

Looking good

Just wondering... was there no room to put the breather box under the right guard? I know you have the alternator there but it usually breathes well under there...

Thanks guys yeah the pipe came up well. As for running the breather pipe through the drivers side guard. Mate no room I have the alternator there and in addition the remote oil filter below, so no room. And I didn't want to put the filter behind the fron't wheel as it'll get clogged. Getting outside the engine bay would have been nice. I am going to put in a vent to funnel cool bonnet air onto the air filter.

Andy, trust me mate as soon as it is running... The FMIC should be ready this week hopefully. Also I just picked up the braided lines (and speedflow connectors) for the turbo which will make a nice addition, still at $180 they should.

Cheers

Matt
