Now , how about my earlier question , will a 940 head fit onto an 850 block with the block pocketted to take the valves , I seem to remember something about an oilway being different but not sure . I do realise the head would need considerable shaving to get the compression back up amongst other things but I already have a massively shaved ex speedway head to start with .
