Looking for someone in sydney who will widen 10inch wheels, i cant see the point in buying some when ive got 8 stock rims sitting in the back yard

there is a guy in penrith but he wont do 10s anymore :(

Widening wheels by cutting & welding the rim is illegal now in NSW. :cry:
Yeah I used to do it for Parramatta Speed Shop but sorry, you're 30 years too late!! :lol:

i have a set of five. if u want them. i got them engineered. cause i failed my blue slip with them. but they fast in the end. the guy only noticed cause he had worked for BMC

I've got a set of 10 x 7 chromed Cooper S wheels. They were made in the early '70s using spun halves by Bernie Pfitzner Engineering. Quite a few Minis in Adelaide ran them. Only one weld, not a steel band welded in either side.

It's something that has really gone out of fashon. widening steel rims. because of alloys.

you will have better luck finding second handies. Just keep in mind it'll be nearly impossible to find 10x7 tyres nowerdays. there's not much demand for them.

they do look awesome on though.

I want the second set on my ute they are so cool I remember getting those hubcaps for my first mini. let me be slanderous and say why bother with minilites when we could just do this YEAH PIMPIN CHROME 850 RIMS

I'm a fan but I dont think it would suit a clubby. anyone know if its legal in vic? or if its engineered is it legal? I'd like them on my roundy van when I find the cash for the guy
