Two years is pretty good, most of my other cars have taken around that long to do, im trying to keep this coversion rolling because my mini is still registered
Slow and steady wins the race

yeah mine hasnt been registered for YONKS...i know thats the cardinal rule with minis (ie. never let it get out of registration

) but i just couldnt be arsed by the end

and just kept it up the back of the garage collecting dust with a grand plan floating around in the back of my head...sold the 'lude and cleared out the garage...thats more or less where i was 4months ago...
i am in no HUGE hurry i spose...i wanna get it right first time and given i have fairly little experience in this field this is gonna take alot of research and thinking and asking of stupid questions here
my main problem is that i HATE compromising...as soon as i find out there's something better i just cant be satisfied with what i've got...unless the better thing costs WAAAAY more...but anyway...this mentality tends to blow fairly well-laid, conservative budgets outta the water

for example...this shocks issue...i COULD just go with Gaz or Spax or some crap like that...that prolly wouldnt be bad at all...but then i found out that for a bit more i could go Ohlins...and now...gaz and spax are like bad words
