Yeah I get the impression it was owned by teacher or something in Central NSW because it had a bit of bull dust in it but very little rust (a bit on the floor but that was about it). I bought it for $500! Had a tired 850 in it I think?

Yeah so impressed with the MAP sensor sorting itself out. Now just got to get the cooling sorted as it can't be too many more overheats before I do permanent damage (especially to the alloy head). But yeah 3 x 4 fold increase over the 850 is pretty good hey Andy. I just have to get the boost switch sorted as it would good to see how 10psi feels, 7 is pretty amazing anyway.

Well done Matt,

Looking forward to hearing that you are driving a problem free car!

I should have mine on-road by July, just in time for the Mini MUster here in Brisvegas.

We should all ploan a get-together to celebrate the joys of the Starlet-Mini symbiosis.

Cheers,
Andrew

Well guys took the Mini for a long run and she didn't overheat. Started to creep up occassionally but I just let her drift and it came down again. Once I put the vent in the bonnet it should be sorted. But now I have another problem. I got the steering aligned before the dyno session. Now the wheels have a negative camber near 20 degrees on the drives side and probably 5 deg on the passengers. So another trip to Fyshwick to get it sorted. Do you think I should go back to the guys who did it or just get someone else to do it.

Cheers

Matt

Take it back to the same guys and make them fix it. But do not pay for it and when you get home jack it up and retighten every thing.

If you handed money I would be either asking for it back or getting it done for free.

If it was Ian in Fyshwick....he is good with Minis....and he will make good anything that he might have done....

I would be more concerned about why it has changed...sounds like something is settling or maybe not bolted up right :?:

Did you fit new rubber cones with your Hi-Los :?: I wonder if new ones settle :?: :?:
