Most likely came out of a 67 Deluxe.

I Need to buy a casing to put a all syncro straight cut set of gears into and I have been told to track down a 22G1128 box.

Could I use a 22G68 or did they only come out 3 syncro???

I think the change over to all syncro was about 1968??

No the 22G68 is 3 synchro, the 4 synchro gearset will not fit.
Yes the change was ~1968.

Only remote box it fits is the 22G1128, used on Mini-K and Mk 2 S.

That same gearset will fit a 22G1832 rodchange box, but not the real late A+ boxes.

Sorry Doc there is another.
There is two 4 syncro remote boxes. the 1128 and for the life of me I can't remember the other.
No bullshit, I sold one last year. When I enquired about the number on the Mini Mania forum I believe that it was from an early (very) Mini K. The box was from England used in the Elf & Hornet.
