I have a big project on my hands and it has been decided that it will just not look that great unless i get some 13 inch rims

I was only really thinking of 13x7's in a Perfomance superlight (or minilight, but we all know how expencive that would be)

Living in Canberra I have limited options, and they all seem quite expencive.

what should I pay and from where? $1,550 is the cheapest quote I have got in canberra

I paid $1300 for the 13 x 7's over a year ago with yokohama rubbers 175/50
Sydney though, and not many places will even bother getting them in for you..

yeah that's the problem I am having with mainstream tyre places, they hear that I am after 13x7 in an old style mag and basically tell me to get nicked (or in their own words get "SIKKED")
"oh mate their not sick, why not go 20inch chromies and really get it really blinging"

I am just after some of the wheels that in my opinion are the best wheels for the mini, their's nothing as dishy as a set of 13x7's on a classic mini.

any help would be welcome

I really have my heart set on 13x7's, Tempe and ozzy are not interested in special orders, I have a set of 12x5's from Tempe for the van, they are OK, for the price they are fantastic, but the quality (mainly the grade of alloy) is a bit average, and I don't think they will look great for long, or take a big load

I will call mini sport, but freight will probably be a big killer on their price

It won't perform as well as on 10 inch wheels...

that's more like it, I might just call Steve @ brickworkx, I might get in trouble for the slicks on the road, but that wouldn't stop me

yeah the ones you were talking about are $1600 (that's what I got Quoted) for the 195's BUT THEY LOOK A MILLION BUCKS

The 175's are heaps cheaper and don't look that niche, and your heaps more likley to scratch the rims since they hang out heaps.

does anyone know of the better tryes to put on the 13's as your obviously limited to Yoko's and Dunlops, from what I can tell and 195's are dunlop only (tell me if I am wrong)
