Mine is front mounted, The radiator is from a 87 honda city :D I did about 15 consecutive laps around our local race track and the temp stayed on 1/2 way the whole time. It was about 25 degrees on the day.

nice...unfortunately that wont do in a roundie :( gonna have to sort out somewhere else to put it i guess...could have coolant lines going back to the boot i spose...and have a boot-mounted radiator...dunno if i should do this or just bite the bullet and stretch the nose out about 50mm...if i am doing a flip-front i spose its not that hard to reverse if i find it looks like a crap-sandwich...

have a look at the honda vtec conversions in the US

most of those have a stretched fibreglass front.. i personally think they do look like a crap sandwich

damn obvious too, even without another roundy sitting beside it
i was thinking about the stretched nose flip front FTE conversion.. i came to the conclusion of moving the turbo above the gearbox and rad in boot would be the best way of doing it.

check out baracades conversion for his rad in boot and turbo over GB.

although.. you wouldnt fit such a radical manifold of course

anyone know if there are any firewall mods needed to fit this in a roundnose? or does it just go in? assuming you move the turbo over the GB and the radiator elsewhere?

No firewall mods needed to fit in roundnose. You will find that the motor cannot move back further that the water pump pulley and passenger side drive shaft allow you.

I am will post you the disk tomorrow so you should have it in the next few days, i tried to take some photos of the areas that will restrict or lead you to the final position of the motor.

Also, a possibility for the radiator may be to fit it in between the rear subframe under the car with a purpose made intake scoop. I will be interested to see if Dean has a problem with low pressure sucking air out of his set up(causing overheating) when driving at high speeds. I would think installing a scoop would easily solve that though.

The other idea i have is to have a purpose made radiator made to fit into my grille opening, not sure yet !!!
