i currently have a set of 12x5 performance superlites ( thanks to madmatt :) ) and was wondering if these are the ideal wheels i would want for a car that hopefully will be putting about 100hp on the bitumen and will be seeing regular road use and occasional track use? should i stick with the 12x5's? or move up to 13xN's? or perhaps wider 12's?

the reason i am asking is that if i should go to 13's then i'll need to do some bodywork...prior to painting...

EDIT: i put an "other" option in the poll...but for some reason it didnt show :( sorry to all those who dont fit the choices there...:(

I voted for 10x6 although I run 10x5.... 8)
With A008s on they are pretty sticky. Bigger & wider does not always = more traction to pavement... ask Boostedmini.

why's that? just for something different? superlites are pretty played as far as minis are concerned :P

10's and 12's handle very similar, with the difference that you can fit massive brakes under the 12's you currently have ;)

I think I'm either going 10x5 or 10x6

Here's what I'm gonna get. Screw that 8-spoke garbage that EVERY Mini has

10x5

or
10x6

Maybe red?
