Wow. You guys sure are making it difficult not to go and convert my clubman to a modern motor.

Vtecmini: Is the frame for this something that was custom made or is it available as a "kit" in NZ, as you mention it was made to fit in a roundnose?

Its really not that much of a hassle at all. :?

Not sure about the clubbys for ADR 10 but on mmy 850 its all fine and dandy to do. and not much work at all.

you can buy all the parts to do it and its really not that $$..

brace bars, hinges, looking body pins.. maybe 250 Max for those parts.

I think it a great option for the extra useable space and the ease of been able to take it right off and have more working room.

did you have to cut the runners on the intake manifold and twist the whole lot upwards to get it to clear the bulk head, or is it easier toi go to a type r manifold or spoon etc etc .

Only prob is buying the parts and hoping they will fit..........Oops just read a previous post that talks about the manifold, sry

Thx,

Ash

That looks fabulous mate. Congrats on the conversion I'm a big fan of the Vtec engines ever since my mate had a Jap import 2.4? litre version in his prelude and that used to eat Ferrari's. They're a solid and very powerful style of engine, that si if they're driven properly.

Congrats once again on a neat conversion good luck with getting the rest done and ready for the road.

Hi,
The bodykit is from autofashion, fibreglass. When I added my new pictures I did not realise how old my first lot of pictures were.

Did you have to get a custom subframe or did you buy it premade? cos im thinking about doin a mini vtec with a flip front and b16 motor. the only subframe i can find is that of the MTB kit from the minitec guys in the US and other brands from UK

Hi Bfeboi.
The vtec cradle was made in the US by Brian Campbell, he make them in lots of 5 at a time when I bought mine. I don't know if he is still making them.
