Very very true... actually clubbies are great. Fibreglass round nose flip front later and they would look perfect..!!

Having said that though, those group ____ (insert letter here) Minis with the huge flares and rear wings off the back window and bulges in the bonnet look AWESOME IMO...

Ah, the perfect use for an original 1275 GT:

"Here's the 1275 GT with the engine out and the Clubman sheetmetal removed. The basic glass front gets in position. Larry added the wider flares to this basic front end."
