Maybe.. Morris 1100 auto? All the other autos had HS4 (848, 998, 1275...)

Seriously many 1098s have had a Clubby 998 manifold fitted- it's worth around 3 or 4 HP according to Clive Trickey (remember him??)

No, the Clubman S (with emissions gear) was 998. We've got one now and owned several. No 1098s were made after 1975.. approx.

Mind you, many late Clubbie S have since had a 1098 fitted or had a 1098 crank and pistons transplant. Got one of those, too- still has the smog 998 head... 8)

What year is on the VIN plate?

1098s all had the 202 head, and it had no air injection ports.

Hang on.. what emission gear are you talking about- just the charcoal can & plumbing? Or the air pump above alternator, and the piping into the head?

It's a 76 model, the stuff i'm talking about is the pump and and pipe that goes into the exhaust side of the head ports, the guy i got it off could of had it changed but i wouldn't know, the engine no is 99H834xxxxxxx, if it is a 998 it's got a lot of power for a 998
