Fuzzyhairman, No, but i will do tho when it`s back together & in the Monaco :-) there`s lots of work still to do tho &,,,This Conversion is being built as a "Road" engine & hoping for around the 150(ish) to be avliable to us,,,but obviously won`t be using it all, the whole time i drive it tho.,,,we have another one we`re building which is a large journal/short stroke/big bore thing & will be the race pig & spin that one out to 10,000rpms & throw a heap of flow & cool at it :-)

& yeah, have a fibreglass mould for the fast back rooves :-)

I`m hangin to show all those wonderfull picys you took,,,but maybe we can keep them all in suspense a little bit further & if you wanna come around with your camera again soon & take some more pics of the front mount intercooler ,pop-off valve, inlet filter,de-seaming, the roll cage , the donk in the engine bay etc etc etc

:-)

thanks again Ben,,,you`re a magician with a camera!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, those headers look like a lot of work. Infact the whole thing looks like a lot of work.

Has there been fire in the beast yet?

 Matt, you sure are living up to your reputation 8)

You've just gotta find the time to finish it, and then market a BMW head kit :!:

Cheers Rampage101,,,you`re a legend!!!!!!!!!

It hasn`t fired up in that form as yet, but we did a start up with it normally aspirated yonks ago, just to make sure it all turned & ran & worked & things didn`t fall off etc, but was only a bench test.

Now we`re in the midst of having all the relevent stuff sorted for the engine bay, Intercooler,Blow off valve, inlet pipes & hoses, turbo dump pipe relocation (bend here & there for clearance sake) both engine steady bars, top rad braket, bottom radiator hose etc etc etc

I`m also in the middle of all the fastback roof strengthening, roll cage, seats & their mounts, stress testing etc etc etc, so that the Dept of Tpt can be happy,,,,There`s more to it than meets the eye.

so,,,i`m still a fair way off,,,but,,,every day it gets closer :-)

But in the mean time,,,on my only day off each week, i go Down Hill mountain bike racing for relaxation :-) & as Rampage101 (Daniel) has been so nice to host these pics for me i thoght i`d show you one pic from last weekends Qld Down Hill Mountain Bike series final held down the side of the Toowoomba range last weekend , where i came first in the Masters class & with that, cam the State series Win!!! :-)

Pretty choofed about it really,,,2nd in the country & 1st in the state now :-)

anyways,,,i know it`s a little off topic, but here goes--->

Image

hope you like my type of "Relaxation" :-)
