tassie 55:

your scoope is from a subaru liberty turbo, like a wrx scoop but shorter. pesonaly i would rather see it only on a subi, not a fan of cars other than subi's with subaru scoops!!!

at least yours is the only functional one i've ever seen! points for that!!
no offence champ, just my view!

Hey Lucas,

I was going to graft the Starlet front scoop onto my clubman bonnet. As Brad says its for the interwarmer  . However, I will be replacing mine with a FMIC  when passed by QLD transport, and an oil cooler will go in its place. I will post a pic when its done.

So you don't think you could get away with a FMIC and get it past QLD Rego?

Matt,

The b#stards at Qld Transport are as anal as those guys in ACT - probably even more so. That report I had to do (for those of you who dont know the drama it was 67 pages in length, with complete overall plan for the mini, pictures, diagrams, scaled drawings etc) should see me over the line. I rang them on Friday as it had been submitted for two weeks and they still had not got to it yet - they say it should be out this Friday.

As to the FMIC - I wont get it passed like that 1st time around. I just may have to retro fit it due to "high boost cooling temepratures leading to premature detonation" or something.
Who knows
