I decided to go to the Holden's of Age car show at Halls Gap in Victoria( open to all makes). Halls Gap is 210km from my home so I was a little anxious as to whether I would make it there and back. So I wound the little 1100 up an average of 90kmh and made there in one piece. They must of thought I did a pretty good job on the restoration as they awarded the Mini the Best Sedan on the day.(much to my surprise, I didn't even wash the bugs of when I got there). I made it home, the only drama was a bird strike on the passenger mirror. A great day hosted by The Holden's of Age car club.

Can't keep a good mini down!

Nice to know some car clubs are tolerant of other makes.
