I'm Samuel and I've got a confession... I neglected my Minis a bit too long.

Welcome back. I see your last post was back in 2006.

Thanks for that, yeah, been a while, life got in the way, things happened, no time or money back then. I've got a little bit of both now, my 8yo loves anything with a motor and can go in the front instead of needing a child seat in the back, may as well get both Minis back on the road for weekend drives.

Hi all,
This is my first post in 10 years, just been busy:). I have a restored Moke, Wolseley Hornet and I'm working on a Mini van which I purchased out of a paddock many years ago, it had been cut down into a Ute, during the last 8 years I have purchased most of the Mini Pick-up panels from Britian and have had the body mostly renewed. Hope to get it on the road in the next year before I get too old to drive it. I'm a BMC mechanic from the 1960's. still a mininutter.

Hi, and welcome. I hope the van is working out well, paddocks are terrible places to find a car...
You didn't happen to do a little work for someone up in Cooma recently? I heard there was a classic BMC mechanic down Bega way from them.

Hi all,
Tim from Tassie. Currently have a 1974 Leyland with 1275 and 196? round nose (no compliance plate) with 998.
The Leyland is in the process of a full bare metal rebuild. Have stripped the font and primed with 2pak epoxy primer. Started the boot area the past weekend. Once these areas are done, will be mounting on a rotisserie.
Cheers

Welcome. Nice projects you have there.
Perhaps your posts could be moved to the Gallery for 9ngoing progress pics.

Welcome aboard Paul. Working on a Mini engine is just like working on half a V8 engine so you should be OK.
