was these used on all ends of the heater hose? so you would need 5?
5 clamps were used in the heater system for the Cooper S. 1 x heater tap, 2 x heater radiator, 2 x Lower radiator hose.
The heater tap hose clamp used on the early Cooper S was a single wire clamp - like what was used on the fuel hose. I am not sure about the other clamps used but it looks like one of them was the twin wire style Pt No 8G531. The parts manual lists 3 part numbers used for the MK1 range - 8G531, 3H2963 and HCS0507.
Around 1967 the radiator hose clamps changed from the H522 twin wire style to the H510 so that might be the change point for the twin wire heater hose clamps as well.
Around 1968 the heater tap hose clamp changed from the single wire to the H498.
This late 1967 photo shows the early heater tap hose clamp and later radiator hose clamps.

The MK2 S used the H498 Utilux clamps for the heater hoses - Pt no SYC11.
Here is a photo of the Utilux range to refer to.
