I know not all listings are checked but WTF.
A US seller listing parts on Australian Ebay. Postage details in caps says ' Will Not Post To Australia'.
Obviously pick up only. ;-) :-0

I am having a problem that might be similar to yours.
I am looking for the terminal block that fits the 8TR control box for early 15AC alternators.
A kind member found one at British Wiring in Pennsylania USA but they don't post to Australia either. Their explanation is that last October, US Postal Service suspended mail to Australia and New Zealand among other places, due to lack of space on the few planes flying at the time.
This ban seems to have been lifted but not everyone is aware. So to get a terminal block from BW, I pay for it and have them mail it to a cousin in California who will forward it to me.

I feel your pain Bill.
I assume you require a correct connector for originality?

Yes Dave. Still has the original aluminium control box and this protects the terminals from touching anything metallic.
The original one is a bit the worse for wear and it's had fire damage at some time.
The block isn't essential but helps to get the wires in the right order. I thought they might be Australian only but turns out they were used on Triumph TR4 which ran a 15AC alternator too. There is no Lucas mark or part number on it and they are NLA from Triumph outlets in UK.

I am sure someone with a 3d printer and the knowledge to use it could knock one out in no time at all.

Instruct them to post it to you.
The postal service is still doing international

There are mail forwarding companies.
You purchase something, have it sent to a location in that country and they will forward onto you.
There are/used to be some members on here from the US, I had mmallack (spelling?) post me something over many yrs ago.

There ways around it

The problem with mail out of USA is their post office putting a strict limit on all mail. The only category is if you send it express, at premium rates.

I had the part posted to my cousin in California who agreed to on-send to me. But when she went to post it, she got quoted $28 from one service and $72 from UPS.
Ended up putting it in an envelope and sending it as a card for $5. It has only been a week so I don't know if it will finally make it to Oz.
