Would anybody have a photo to share showing the carpet underlay for the interior front guards attached to the carpet to allow viewing the shape and size of the underlay for fitting from an original mini?

Pretty sure there's no underlay on the two pieces that fit on the front guard panels. The carpet is glued directly to the body. The piece up behind the heater on the firewall does have insulation.

That's the way mine were.

Cheers Winebbey and ausdino.
That's good enough for me.
I got the original carpet out and could see some marks on the reverse side of the front carpet guard panels but this may well be from the seam sealer.
Many thanks gentlemen.
