Have an ongoing issue with a tyre. Leaks around the bead to rim join. It happens after 12 months or so. And has been happening for quite a while. Ease the bead from the rim, clean and reseat and it will be fine again for 8 to 12 months.
I have tried various bead sealers from the proper stuff to every old wives tale out there.. Last time I took pics of the leak positions to see if it was always in the same place but this time different places are leking.
Any one got any Ideas or solutions, its driving me crazy.

Sorry, should have said, alloy minilites 12 inch, falken tyres.
Cannot work out why it holds for a year or so then starts leaking.

Could be a dimension fault in the wheel, its diameter or profile.
They actually seal under the bead, not on the side.
You might have to pull off the tyres and compare it to another wheel.

Decided to change wheels and put GT rims with almost new A008 while I work out problems.
1 GT A008 went flat overnight.AAARRRRGGGGHHH F#@*@# B@#**@#
Throws arms up in air and walks out of shed muttering and swearing.
Is it any wonder I drink?

With your original problem you could try swapping the tyre with another rim. If it happens on the same rim it is most likely the rim is the problem, if it happens again on that tyre, it is most likely the problem. If its the rim, maybe check for hairline cracks, unlikely as you say its in different positions. If its the tyre it maybe a faulty bead.

Have you submerged the whole wheel/tyre in water to pinpoint the source of the leak?

OK there seems to be some confusion here.
I know where the original mag wheel tyres leak from but fixing is another issue.
The alternative GT rims with A008 tyres are almost brand new despite being a number of years old.
1 GT rim A008 tyre leaks.
I managed to get an hour or so in the shed tonight, offending GT had a tube fitted to a brand new tyre.
I have removed the tube and fitted a new valve stem and it is holding air atm.
Strange thing is it held air for 2 days before I fitted it to the car then went down and continued to go down after reinflating even off the car. The tube stays inflated even now it is out of the tyre rim. Valve is not leaking.

If you run tubes inside A008s put plenty of talcum powder in there. Otherwise the diagonal ribs in the tyre will chew up the tube.
I found out the hard way.

That is what I have heard also, tube was put in by tyre shop when fitted new, no idea why, but tube is not chewed and holds air as such. The old hot water trick will probobly show leaky split.
Rim and now tubeless tyre held air overnight so all good for the moment.

Obviously getting a big enough container to fit a Mini wheel may be an issue. Perhaps just shoo the cows and horses away from the trough in your back paddock.

With which tyre do you mean? I know where the minilites leak from and have fixed the GT rim!
