I went to have a look at the the Morris last Tuesday , best original Morris 1300 I have ever seen, hardly been used always garaged with cover. My friend bought it for $8000. One thing I found strange, it is a 4 speed with no Park. Were the Mins the same ?

We owned 2 mini Matics when I was young. No park lock. Dad always kept a wheel chock in the door pocket for when he parked on a slope.

Ditto the need for a wheel chock.
My wife had a Morris 1100 automatic. One day it meandered across the lawn and crunched the LR wheel arch of my near new Fiat 124AC coupe.
I was not happy, Jan..

But we're still married!!
