Here is the Mini at the Goodwood Revival tribute to Bruce McLaren, in 2015.

Fantastic! A book on racing minis would be great, hope you get there. Great photos.

Is Speedway racing classed as Historic racing Too? There were many people racing Minis at Speedway years ago. I was one of them.

Wasn't the Gulson car fitted with a Mazda Rotary engine at one time? Before that it had a mean 8 port A series with a Union Jack painted on the roof I seem to recall.

No, that's not correct.
The Paul Gulson Snooper car was bought by Doug Byrne and is now owned by John Bell. Still 8 port.
The Paul Gulson Rotary is a different car. Was raced by the Hume Bros for a number of years and still exists here in Victoria. It had a Hewland transaxle mounted upside down in from of the engine. I looked at buying it in the 90's, but it eventually got sold as a roller.

You should buy it. Historic Sports Sedans is picking up and they are starting to change hands for good money. That is an iconic piece of Aussie mini history, and has your name all over it.

Very privileged to see the giant killing Mini's race against some formidable competition...Big Pete's Mustang was the winning-est car at the time and here is Foley serving it up to him at the Farm...

They used to let you host images for free. Now they blur them on forums unless the photo owner pays a fee..

If you are using Chrome as your browser there's a hotlink fix you can install to bypass the blurry image issue.
