There are some Pommy twin circuit master cylinders that look very similar to Aussie ones, but are split diagonally, not front/rear. Wouldn't like to get them confused!

I can't really see the point in limiting pressure to the front, all you want is to stop the back from locking before the front. If you have the original rear brake limiter, then that should do it.

Matt...this subject is too important to fiddle about with...borrow one of our many tech manuals from Anto...I'm sure we have a Reference Book which has a complete workshop supplement on braking systems...

Find out which is the correct item for your Clubby than take it out to QBYN to see Trevor at Australian Brake Sleeving for an overhaul.

i originally had a single system, bought a ms and prop valve from a member here.. i had them reconditiond through work (trade price) and i think it cost me just over $400 to resleeve the master and proporting valve... if i had of known what brad did before i sent the prop valve away i would have done away with it all together.. the top section is for the rear.. its obvious looking at it due to the size.. the top is about a 5c coint, bottem is like a 10c coin roughly..

the prop valve has 2 inlets on the top, and 3 outlets underneath.. | |
| ||

like that, the rear goes through the single side obviosuly, and the rears seperate into 2 individual lines.. now with regards to that bastard proportion valve.. about 2 weeks after i got mine reco'd, i thought he ill just see if theres any on the uk ebay.. happened to be a couple on there for like 3 and 5 pounds.. and they were NOS.. so with postage.. and what ever tax you have to pay, you;d prolly get one here for about $30

got any questions mate i learnt a shitload on dual circuit systems

Well I have a really good question for you 998 and anyone else (can you hear me begging). Does anyone have one of these or know where I can get one reasonably quickly?

This one has become very brittle and went to pull it out of the hole and it was a bit stuck out it comes with a bit of rush and the thing shattered like glass *#*$*%(%(#@)(!!

well the small matter of a reservoir shouldn't be a problem Matt.....

just look at how far you have come.....don't sweat the small stuff mate

Loved that little Suzi alternator....wonder if you could press a Mini pulley on one end :?: :D

Don't forget about the bottom arms either....it could be done in slow time or maybe as a tech day.....if you don't mind cleaning drool off the mudguards

Bugger Makka, I should have looked at this more recently, I ended up getting one from Mini and Moke for $33! Damn! But don't despair (if it is turns out to be the wrong one I will give you another bell).

Also if anyone reads this, are the threaded holes for the steel lines metric, becase I went to screw in my brake pipes and they are very loose in the holes. Also there are 3 holes, 2 on one side one on the other what's that for??? Sorry for the stupid questions but I never seen a dual circuit mc before!

Sorry Mick I have already ordered and paid for otherwise I'd take up Makka's offer. No problem anyway, if $33 was going to break the bank on this little project it would have never got off the ground...

Yes they are metric threads, in the twin MC and on the %&$ valve on the firewall that the pipes go to.
Spanner size is 10mm.

Yeah I heard they were metric. Doc the top hole is for the rear brake pipe. Is it a case of middle hole for the front left and bottom for right front?
