Would like to get some information (Month & Year of manufacture) of Mini Van that a mate is looking to buy.

ID plate states

Model - 850 Van
Type - YJBAV.1R
Chassis no. - 841

Any information gratefully received.

From John's book 27-04-1964 YJBAV1 501 and then June 1964 was up to YJBAV1 997 so going by that you would be looking at May 1964.
It would be smooth roof, sliding window with the full front skirt nose. Very nice.

Feb 64 is when they started pressing the panels for the vans.
