 Post subject: door pocket trim 1970

There seems to be different opinions on pocket trim ,Which way do the long folds go ?

I've got the long fold along the side opposite the door trim (ie along the red line below)... but that's how I found it on mine, and in my mind it doesn't make sense going the other way...

Mine is as (ffff)fred's, and the little flappy bits sit on those brackets.

On my '70 S, (and mini K), there are 2 narrow wings, about the same width, along each side of the main bottom section. One wing turns up and the other turns down. See the diagram.
One of the photos of a clubman door trim has one much wider side - it might be to replace the felt-backed vinyl that was glued to the inside of the door pocket of earlier minis?
