Hello all,

I can’t find any info on VIN or Engine numbers for SS models.

Do these look correct and true to a 76 SS?

VIN: 022D2S3N09/22074

Engine number:99H791P/112594

It’s a (998)

3 - special trim eg SS
M - manual

Should have Leyland Mini SS on the compliance plate .The 3 in the vin number stands for 3rd model(Not SS trim)

The (3) is easy to work out as it only appears on the SS, and (4) only appears on the LS.

It gets confusing trying to work out the differences with an 021 Mini with the code (1) or (2) and an 022 Mini S with the code (1) or (2).
