What is it about the angel eyes that are so cool, I've never seen them.

How much do these angel eyes cost?

It's just a ring of light around the actuall headlight, was first used on BMW's, looks like a Halo...hence angel eye's..

There are some pics of them on 13secmini's car...

Some generic ones..:

I think the angel eyes look great on the BMW's, but i think that is because there are 2 headlights on either side... Not to sure how it would look with just one headlight either side though

I have angel eye headlamps for sale if you are interested at $100 per pair that is post included to any where in Aust. The only Mod they need is a parker feed has to run through the headlight bowl gromet to supply for the angel eye ring. They are like the ones on "MUTNT"
Also for those who don't know I have for sale:- Bosch 85 Amp alternators and a Modified Bosch planetary gear starter, both to suit the Mini. The starter has heaps of power and plenty of spin as it has the same Motor that is used on Ford and Holden late model 6 Cyl engines. It does not throw out till the engine fires up. Also to note. These starters can also be used on Round nose Minis with oil coolers mounted in front of the starter. They do not touch as the Solenoid hangs underneath. They also weigh less than thew original Mini Lucas starter M35. [email protected]

The same as the old Renaults and Peugots. Any buyer of loights for a Mini has to ask him(her)self if they want performance or looks. H4's for performance and Angel eyes for looks, the last being a personal thing as I reckon they look uglyyyyyyyyy..

There was a guy on the 16 valve mini board that did an extra set of lights into his clubby grill, IMO it looked good but made the clubby look similar to an older beemer.

Sorry can't be bothered finding the pic right now maybe later.... I think he also did a vauxhall engine conversion

OK here tis:

this is a crappy pic i took with my phone of my car with the angel eyes on the red setting. I think they look pretty good, as long as you use the right watt globe there fine.

I have been looking at the wrx lights... But all the lights these days slope back towards the the rear of the car, it might look sweet once its done but its gonna be expensive to do.. Plus the guards will have to be re-moulded to fit around the lights...

Nothin that a bit of fibreglass (and maybe some bog) can't fix.

I imagine it being a time consuming job tho; getting it to look 'right'.

Hands down if you pull it off!
I love a nicely modified (and i mean actually modified) mini.

Would definately be different.... but its one of those modifications which needs a little "photo-shopping" practice before its actually done.... just to make sure it suits...

Worst case scenario, your classic mini could end up looking more like a BINI...

Yeah i even had a look at the bini lights... And i had a grat thought for a moment the other day, most of the new lights are actually flat if you looked at them on the right angles, so i thought sweet ill just take that light out and put it in the mini horizontal.. But then i realised that the lights would be pointed in the total wrong directions....
It was more of a brain fart than a thought
