Think may have answered myself... however correct me if I’m mistaken.

Looks like I have a late 69 Mini K van.

Trying to confirm body numbers.
Using John Sneddons book:
Chassis Number stamped on radiator shroud.
Body number stamped in bonnet gutter (passenger side)
ID plate behind master cylinders. (As a van but not on sedans)

Radiator shroud (heavily painted) looks to be 24xx
Gutter is 1952
No number on firewall.
ID plate however is 30xx

So it seems body ID plate is not correct for this vehicle ?

A van is classed as a commercial vehicle. 69 commercial vehicles had plates. My 69 moke is in the same category.

Only sedans lost their plates for a while

A 69 K van should have a lot lower number than 3000 or 4000. (number 38** was built in mid 1970)

The issue is that your ID plate is 3000s and you don't have any corresponding chassis stamping to match. It sounds like you have YJBAV4R 2450's with the build number 1952. Mid to late 69.

If it helps 2804 is a 1969 van and 3788 is 5/70.

Just confirming that your ID plate looks like this 1969 Mini K Van because in 1970 they went to ADR compliance plates with dates stamped into them.

Correct the ID plate looks like that.
Minivan
Yjbav4r
3077
10YJ/U/H 4018
1/crystalwhite\1 (1s hand stamped)
2044Lbs

Though it’s a bitsa still has floor start button.
John’s book indicates that ceased with car 2523 in sept 69.

Wiper is 6 69
Has a Clubman engine so can’t even compare engine number either.

Definitely feel wrong plate.

Just take off the 3077 ID plate and register it using the stamped chassis number 24xx.

They sell new ID plates if you really want to get one to match but the transport dept only need a stamped chassis number.

Thanks for your comments.
