Wondering if anyone else made the trip to Ballarat swap meet
last Saturday. It is now a 2 day event - Friday and Saturday. Went
on Saturday and was rather annoyed at how early some people were
packing up - some stuff being loaded onto trailers at midday. In their
defence it did look like rain. Found very little in the way of Mini parts.
Got 2 halogen headlights, a new thermostat housing, electric fuel pump
and a set of brake pads that are so small, could only be Mini !
Regards, Winston.

From reading Restored Cars mag over the years, most of Ballarat is for American and Aust big 3 enthusiasts.
You probably had a free range over any mini bits on offer.

Correct. Ballarat is only for Holdens and USA cars. No Mini stuff ever turns up, especially on the Friday!

I was there at 7am Friday morning :)

I got a 100mph Speedo for $10, Cooper S original extractors for $10, 3x Lucas driving light lense and reflectors for $2 each plus a bundle of other stuff.

You have to walk miles to find the stuff but it can be there! The good thing is generally the Holden parts guys have no idea what Mini stuff is worth so generally cheap. (although the odd one will want $350 for a rusty 850 grille!)

$10 For headers is a bargain. Some people think they are worth $650.
