Leo bought the Moke from a company that hired cars out for movies, which is why it had been in numerous films, wearing a variety of liveries and disguises. So it is possible it did others, including war movies as a little Scout.

Would love to see a pic of it as the Scout car.

Cheers,
Watto.

Watched Stone again last night on the big screen...shows several seconds of fuzzy images (what else!!) of a light blue Police Clubby (with flashing roof light) leading the Gravediggers Funeral Procession..and one other time later in the movie :D

If anyone wants a new animated comedy (Family Guy esque), try Archer. There's always mini's popping up (always shown in the main scene at headquarters)

Just had a first look at this website.

Looked for a couple of BBC series with Minis in that I remember from my childhood but couldn't find them!

First was Butterflies; the main character Ria drove a Red Mini with blue/white stripes and a Union flag on the roof (I think)

Other was Driving Ambition which had a Mini that went from a Mums run about to full race spec with a Ford BDA engine!

My Mums wagon was featured in a kids afternood TV series, (ive forgotten the name of the series) but it was filmed at Movie-world on the gold coast & they used my mums wagonparked out front of "Vins Fish-n-chips shop :-)
the car still has the "Vins fish-n-chips" sign on each door :-)

Driving Ambition was a good series...a little cringeworthy in places but worth watching...

Speaking of worth watching...

Françoise Hardy Biography (Wikipedia) Françoise Madeleine Hardy (born 17 January 1944) is a French singer-songwriter. Famous for her appearance in the film Grand Prix amongst other things...seen here in a borrowed Mini...
