Sorry if this question has been covered before,

I have disks and spaced drums on my 66 van but want steel wheels without flares, preferably 4.5".

I'm guessing reverse rims will stick out too far, Mini spares has 10x4.5's apparently from a deluxe would they be more suitable?

Cheers,
Silas

The standard Cooper S wheels are fine without flares (except in SA)

Non S wheels (at least none that I've been able to find) do not fit over S discs (well, they can be bolted on but generally won't rotate).

Deluxe didn't have 4.5" wheels so maybe they are actually S rims???

I would be surprised if they weren't happy to discuss fitment if you expressed interest.

Cheers, Ian

I'd like to see how these go, they'd be lighter and be nice and round!

Ok if using 145 tyres. Just a tad past the edge of the guards if using 165's. If you need to register the car, borrow a set of standards first, then go for the 165's. They look great without flares.

Has anyone experienced these wheels and how hard is it to get the hub caps?

this is mine here - mine came from Japan, but the markings on them match up... the hubcaps are standard type as per any Australian mini

I have what appears to be a "firsat" steel wheel here. back spacing is 10mm less than my contessas.

they fit comfortably over the disks, just not sure its the "look" I want.

Did clubman gt wheels have 4 or 8 vents? This has 4!
