The Vtec swap is one of the tightest, not a lot done in Aus, and generally requires both inner guards to be cut out.

Mulgrave? That's right near me!

Shoot me your details, and I'll put you on to an engineer and mechanic who doe all sorts of Frankenstein builds.
A VTEC in a mini is probably not the wildest thing they've done.

Just look in the Engine conversion section on here, you will some build threads which include vtec conversions. Most recently this was done by dutchy in Melbourne. I have seen this car and he has done an amazing job.
