I have a mate who has dug out his Mini Deluxe to try and get it road worthy. I just thought I would see what info I can come up with for him regarding the manufacture date of the car. The numbers are:
YMA/2S2/27452
Eng. 9Ya/TA/H/28552
Seamist Green.

Any info would be great.

27452 would have been sold around July/Aug 1967

24773 was sold in Apr 1967 , 30677 was sold in Jan 1968

Hard to pin point an exact month of manufacture as some were sold within a few weeks and others a few months.

What is the date stamped on the back of the speedo? What is the w/s/w motor dated?

27568 I put at 11/67 or 12/67 as stamped on the w/s/w motor.

June 1967 for your vehicle.

Do you quote sale dates or est manufacture dates?
I suppose that info is in your book?

Thanks guys for your comments. The sale date of the car is 28/08/67 as stated in the drivers handbook. It was sold through Arthur Robinson motors in Grafton, NSW.

I'll have to get my mate to check the w/s/w motor stampings.

Good to be able to date a cars manufacure vs sale date. This car only took 2 months to sell.

How goes the book John? Haven't been around much of late so I am a bit behind with the goings-on in the mini community.
