Only cooper S stuff is gold apparently.

replaced the indicator stalk, wound up the hi-lo's to get the mandatory 100mm under the lowest part { exhaust collector} and fitted the inside of the glove box. a quick wash and it's heading to vicroads wed for it's inspection where I'm sure they will tell me it's a Mercury outboard and a jet ski trailer not a 1977 mini.

At the risk of getting flamed, can I suggest that when pumping up your hydro you use the tried and tested 2 1/2 to 3 fingers from the top of your front tyre to the chrome strip on the guard

[I would hate to see a bunch of over-pumped Mini's "porpoising" around the place ]

mines hydro and only slightly over two fingers at the front guard and it's still more than 100mm at the sump.

Needed an oxy torch to free the inner metalastic bush sleeves from the front lower suspension arm pins on a mate's Moke today. Rusted solid New ones replaced with copper grease on the pin

Pulled off my horn, which was previously black,and stripped all the paint off and gave it a polish.
Came up looking great but now it doesn't work!

Paint it black and it should be OK then

Finally stuck the head back on the S and she fired up straight away. Only took me 3 weeks of my 4 week holiday in QLD. (Bad back)

Swapped my 3/4 rear wheel cylinders for 5/8 ones. Bigger changes for the front brakes tomorrow.
