That heater is from a RHD car. All the Moke's I have had were like this. Maybe my earlier post wasn't clear. If you can only get floppy heater hose that wants to kink when bent back around the heater then you can make a 180 degree bend out of copper tube like I did. The original hose was quite a stiff that didn't kink.

Yes that might be the way to go with an elbow. That would keep it nice and close. I will see what I get time to do this week. Luckily this week isnt going to be too cold early in the mornings. Not like the -5 mornings we had a few weeks ago.

Got one in my S replica ,re drilled holes in other side plate and turned core over, be careful to stagger holes correctly.
