Just wondering how you all go with your choice of engine oil
I have found if you use the wrong oil selecting 1st gear seems a lot harder
Castrol GTX2 seems to work well
What have you found works

I have no probs there with any 20W50 oil. But I found GTX and GTX2 lost heaps of oil pressure on the freeway with no cooler.

I have found the same with GTX2. Low oil pressure when hot.

I have an oil cooler
and heaps of pressure
What about synthetic oils

I have used these two in rotation (depending on what is cheapest at the time) and they are all good:

Valvoline XLD Classic (not Premium) <-- Cheap and excellent quality
Castrol Edge 25W50 <--- even better quality but expensive
