 Post subject: Half cage installation

here are a few pics of putting in a half cage from bonds bars. it's a fair bit of work. only the hoop is in for the photos. the rear leg have been set up, tacked and removed for welding but i haven't put them back in yet.

looks good. i know your pain, as my six point is same design but with the front legs and door bars.

did you have anyproblem with clearance at the top of the passenger side angle on the bottom bolt hitting the diagonal in the hoop

just made it fit at the right angle. it sits a bit further inboard to avoid that problem, and i also mounted it up with the bolt and slid it as far outboard as possible after the bolt was in there. that way you dont need a lot of room to insert the bolt if you have already bolted the wheel arch end down.

the cage has been removed and painted and is back in now i didn't get a chance to take pic and my little brother took his camera away with him. will post some pics when he gets back

i only went for the half cage because in nsw you can't register it with a six point, i might by the front arms later and only put them in for track days. here are the rest of the pics.
